MIDWIFE, OWNER

Kelsey Chieko Babb,
BSN, RN, MSM, LM, CPM

Kelsey Chieko Babb is a Bastyr University trained midwife who has primed her skills serving diverse communities from the Greater Houston Area to Seattle. Chieko has been a full-time birth worker since 2015. She completed her studies at Bastyr University in 2018 with a dual Bachelor and Master of Science degree in Midwifery.

Chieko believes her midwifery training instilled in her the importance of taking on leadership in communities for the health of future generations. Her practice of holistic midwifery care is rooted in both evidence-based practices and respect for traditions. She brings all the tools of the trade she has gathered throughout her journey as a birth doula, herbalist, reproductive health ally, and home birth midwife into her practice. Additionally, Chieko has a BSN degree from Cizik School of Nursing and neonatal ICU experience caring for critically-ill newborns. Her ultimate goal is to provide her community with access to humane, respectful, and culturally sensitive care as a guide and partner in protecting physiologic childbirth.

Chieko loves all things babies, cultivating native plant gardens, poetry, and raising her two boys.

Natalie Guzman, Doula and Student Midwife

DOULA, STUDENT MIDWIFE

Natalie Guzman

Natalie was born in Los Angeles to Salvadoran parents, carrying the blood memory of my Nahua-Pipil and Mayan ancestors. Her maternal grandmother was a traditional midwife.

It was the ecstatic homebirth of her son that opened the portal into birthwork—an initiation that forever changed her life and awakened a calling she could not ignore. She is now a birth doula, student midwife, and ceremonialist, devoted to reclaiming birth as a sacred rite of passage and supporting the physiological power of the birthing body.

She walks this path in service to the BIPOC community, honoring ancestral ways and offering care that is culturally rooted, spiritually grounded, and deeply loving. As a Spanish-speaking, vegan mama who homeschools a vibrant 6-year-old son, she would describe her life as a weaving of motherhood, activism, earth-honoring living, and community building.

Birth is her obsession, devotion, and her offering. Natalie is here to learn how to protect its mystery, celebrate its power, and help us all remember: birth is ceremony.

Check out her work here.

MIDWIFE, BIRTH ASSISTANT

Victoria Solis, LM, CPM

Midwife Victoria Solis is a friendly, honest, and deeply inviting presence at Sana Sana Midwifery who makes every family feel truly seen and supported. With 8 years of experience and an unwavering commitment to holistic care, she takes the time to listen, understand, and guide each family through their unique parenting passage. She celebrates the strength and wisdom of every parent, empowering them with evidence-based knowledge and continuous support.

For Victoria, there could be no role more honorable and rewarding than that of a midwife. Midwifery encapsulates everything that she loves. She finds joy in being an advocate for women, supporting, enabling, and empowering them during the most incredible time in life. I consider midwifery to be more than a job, rather a privilege and a vocation.

Outside of midwifery, Victoria is a mom of 5 and a loud and proud sports mom. She homeschools two of her children and loves to read and bake when she has some downtime.
